Tango Ascent at Hotel Alpenblick, Tenna Safiental 2027

Dates: Thu 6 May - Sun 9 May 2027. A tango weekend at 1650 meters above sea level in the Berghotel Alpenblick.

Tango in the morning in the hotel's beautiful dining room, afternoons spent relaxing, hiking or strolling right outside the door.

Evening classes and dancing in the Stübli.

Price: from 580.- per person, half board, (3 nights in a simple double room, 7 tango lessons, practice) Excl. tourist tax Fr 2.2 per person per night.

Tango for all levels, whether morning or afternoon, we adjust according to the weather and your wishes.

Basics, technique, connection and musicality, appropriate for beginners and advanced dancers. Giros, Adornos, body language and breathing techniques in tango.

The Alpenblick Mountain Hotel: A former retreat center from the early days of mountain tourism, later used as a school camp, and now run by an association of interested individuals and the local community, this simple hotel aims to foster modest tourism in Tenna. The rooms are simple and charming, with shared showers and toilets in the corridor. The restaurant offers respectful cuisine prepared with authentic products. By staying here, you support a worthwhile project in a small mountain farming village, promoting local initiative and value creation in a fair and responsible way.

The surroundings: Tenna is a small, intact mountain village on the sunny side of the Safien valley; with cows, a guesthouse, a Volg supermarket, and a post office, it has everything it needs and also boasts the first solar ski lift in the world.

The program: approx. 6-hour course (suggestion). Thursday: Check-in from 4 pm. Tango course 6-7:15 pm. Dinner, followed by dancing in the lounge.

Friday and Saturday: Course 11-12.15h and 18-19.15h dinner, followed by dancing in the Stübli. Sunday: relaxed breakfast and check out.
